Focusing on: experiments // m & e commerce // location-based services // econometrics // data science

I am an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business and an Associated Researcher at the Institute of Electronic Commerce and Digital Markets in Munich. Before joining Fordham University, I was a postdoc and research scientist at NYU Stern. I received my PhD from Ludwig-Maximilian University.

My research is mainly focused on electronic and mobile commerce, particularly on location-based advertising and mobile search. I am also interested in the economic perspectives of disruptive technologies related to the Internet of Things (IoT). In my research, I rely on observational data and field experiments using mobile applications including beacons and GPS-Data (SSRN Author Page).
