Focusing on: experiments // m & e commerce // location-based services // econometrics // data science

I am an Assistant Professor of Information, Technology, and Operations at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business and an Associated Researcher at the Institute of Electronic Commerce and Digital Markets in Munich. Before joining Fordham University, I was a postdoc and research scientist at NYU Stern. I received my PhD from Ludwig-Maximilian University.

My empirical research is mainly focused on questions related to location-based advertising and mobile search. I am also interested in the economic perspectives of disruptive technologies related to the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as platform design questions. In my research, I rely on econometrics and data science methods using observational data as well as field experiments, often based on mobile applications including geo-fences, beacons and additional location data (SSRN Author Page).
